My urine tested positive the other day for alcohol. I was asked when was the last time I drank. I denied drinking( but I did) but work in a hospital, said could it be the hand sanitizer? They said the will run some other test on that urine. So now what?

See, you lied and got caught... no it couldn't be hand sanitizer... unless you were drinking that... but you are prohibited from injesting alcohol... it doesn't matter what kind... sterno or a vintage wine... booze is booze when the tests are concerned.

They expect people to lie... and do actively look for all the ways people try.. and when detected.. also counts for a fail just the same.

Want to pass without worrying?. then don't drink.

What can you do? Right now there is nothing... you deal with what the penaltys are.

What's done is done... and can't be undone. You do however have the ability to make the changes in your habits so future tests no longer remain a concern.
