How much conflict of interest will occur if I take a 2nd job in Peer Recovery w/ anot
I've been working PT as Peer Recovery Coach at one agency for @ 4+ years & have all but been assured of a like position at another agency where I live. I would like to keep both jobs if possible. The new employers told me in my interview today that a possible conflict of interest could occur w/ repsect to my representation of agencies in meetings w/ other groups. I had not thought of this. They told me to talk to my old agency @ it for their thoughts.

I'd appreciate any feedback on this. I'd like to work it out amicably.

Conflict of interest comes in when you have a chance to work with clients of the agency you are already working with, while already employed by another. What do you say? You have to say no, you can't because so and so is already booked with your other agency.

So, no you cant, unless your present company gives you a ago ahead, but why would they if you would be taking money from them by working for the same client belonging to the other agency.
