    One sip of beer- drug test. PLEASE HELP
    Im nervous and I messed up big time. Ive gone without drinking for well over a year and lastnight I took one sip of beer. Definitely less than and oz. That was at 8:30pm. Today I had a drug test that gets sent to a lab and took that test at 2 pm. I probably urinated about 10 from this morning and last night before the test and Im 220 and I workout/ lift weights. What are the odds I fail. Im nervous and acted selfishly. I wish I never did, I cant believe it.

    It really depends on the test you're given. People have failed for taking cough medicine that contains less alcohol than a sip of beer. People have also failed for using hand sanitizer, not even ingested. Any product that contains alcohol, even if it's not ingested, can cause a fail. That's why they tell you to stay away from any product containing alcohol.

    We can only guess. There's definitely a good chance that you'll fail.

    What do you stand to lose if you fail?

    Odds mean nothing, only the outcome of your test for you. As Alty said, some folks have failed for products containing alcohol.

    That being said, in the past year + and over 150 ETG tests, personally, I have never failed for any products containing alcohol and just my personal thought on the matter is that your chances are higher of passing than failing.

    I have no scientific data to back that up, just my small, humble, opinion, based upon the very little that I know from personal experience as well as what I have read and the stories I have heard. However, everyone is different.

    I don't think an ounce of beer would rise to the level of failure so your odds are fairly good to pass. Depends on why, and whom the test is for.
