When they were coming up with the period for the test, they took a loot at the results as a bell curve. Which is to say that the majority of people who have several drinks will fail when tested 60-80 hours after consumption. That covers probably about 90-95% ish of the population. It is the outliers that are interesting.

On one end you have the people who metabolism and eliminate alcohol and EtG/EtS quickly, so quickly that the test wouldn't pick it up a day or two later, even after drinking heavily. These people are rare.

Then there are those who will test positive after the 80 hour cutoff. There are several reasons for this:
    - History of binge and heavy drinking, Cause metabolising and elimination to be slower
    - genetic predisposition to slow metabolism
    - Having finished a Binge drinking session recently.

You've got a high cutoff so you have some breathing room there, but you said that you drank heavily, so that is a strike against you, and chances are you have a history of heavy drinking. The chances are you will pass, but I Wouldn't be surprised of a fail.

There is another issue, why are you drinking when you've agreed to be sober? Not drinking would save you from this stress. I know that is sanctimonious but it is also the god honest truth. There are a lot of support groups, 12 step or AA to name one, that can help you stay sober for however long you need to be. If you pass the test I would look into getting help.

    Good luck.
