First time I've been on probation-always did a parole and it is different. So when I'm facing giving up a dirty u.a. I just wondered if it's a straight trip to the jail again as a violation? Or what? A drug treatment program? In house or out? And just for the record this probation sucks turds! Parole is way better. I explain that parole give you the rope to hang yourself with, and probation comes after you with plenty of rope and plenty of lame excuses to hang your up. Sucks! But our great state is claiming to be so out of financial resources that they're delagating some of the funds to county instead of state-now us parolees are going out on probation and I mean it that this is going to have me looking for creative ways to get out from underneath it.. via a transfer out of state, or a absconding to parts unknown until the time feels exceeded, etc... but there's no chance a woman like me can do the county probation-i enjoy my recreational excursions and them who tells me that I'm hurting anyone other than myself when I partake in them. Wish all you want ever your in need of to succeed in this railroading we're caught up in.

Sometimes the PO will give you some slack on the first violation if you are straight with them.

Others, will violate you, the judge will most likely put you back on probation, depending on what the crime is for, and your prior drug convictons
