I was on methadone for over 10 years and this is my 3rd attempt. I was placec on methadone by a dr. At a clinic and knew nothing about the drug. I have 1 piece left. Iwent through this and stayed clean it only lasted 4 months about a year ago and all it took was taking 20mg of methadone for 2 days and I was right back. So I went back to the doctor. He is hard to get a hold of and I know in 24-48 hours it's going to be bad... Ie no motivation, depression. leg cramps, diarrea etc! And on top of this my husband is doing it for the first time. I know to be active and some is mental. I'm running out of time. Last time my parents knew but I didn't want to disappoint them again. I just want to be normal again. Please helpAny and all advice suggestions etc would be appreciated.

Well there's really nothngi you cn do to stop the withdrawsbesides taking more methadone I would suggest going to detox. Maybe that's what you need a program. Honestly it's the best thing for you since the methadone doesn't seem to be working for you. Go to detox. They will give you methadone to make you feel better and give you advice on what to do. Therapists you can talk to. If you dgo to the detox after you should go to a rehab program. Unless you want to keep using which I don't think you do. It's the best choice and it could save your live..

Please continue trying to contact the doctor involved. I'm a little confused by your question. Are you currently using Subutex or methadone.

I'm confused to.. if you've been taking it for awhile you shouldn't get sick in only 24 hours. A lot of it is in your head.. but my boyfriend got kicked off a linic before and it took about 5 days before the withdrawals started
