    Can vicodin be out of system after 38 hours.
    I am on suboxone for pain pill addiction and have been doing very well. This morning I slipped down steps and screwed up my hand. I thought it was broken so I went to hospital I was honest and told them I'm a pain pill addict and I'm on suboxone. . They gave me an RX for IBU 800 which is good but in the hospital they did give me two vicodin pills. Now I'm worried that my doc is going to drop me because I have only been on suboxone for 2 months and I drug test on Friday will it b out of my system or should I bring in the hospital info and tell him. I'm nervous I don't want to be kicked out when I have been doing so well. I have not used at all since I started suboxone 2 months ago.

    Given the circumstances you have described please provide full detail to your primary physician. I'm sure his/her queries will be directed to the medical advice (prescription) provided rather than your action in following same.

    Prescription of Vicodin is closely regulated regardless of the context of administration so your Primary will have no problem in verification. You can relax.
