    For the retained earnings statement, how do I find the dividends
    I'm not sure how to calculate the dividends needed to be deducted on the retained earnings statement. I am given ash dividends for common stock. Cash dividends for preferred stock. Stock dividends for common stock. And dividends payable. Do I just subtract all of this from net income?
