    Request copy of Filed taxes
    Dear Sir or Madam,

    How can I request a free copy of my filed taxes for
    Year 2004, 2007 and 2008?

    Also, requesting copies of my 2004 W2 from
    A prior employer?

    An exact copy of your tax form is not free. Transcripts are but don't go back that far. So this isn't exactly what you want, but there's nothing I can do about that.

    The only other place you might get it is anyone you gave a copy to, like an accountant who did them for you.

    As for the prior employer, did you try calling them? You can get that with a copy of the tax return, but that'll cost you.
