    Purchases of Investment Assets are DEBITS.
    Sale of Investment Assets are CREDITS.
    The period has no effect.

    So Purchases.

    DEBIT PURCHASES Of INVESTMENT ACCOUNT.
    CREDIT BANK ACCOUNT.

    For Sales.

    DEBIT BANK ACCOUNT
    CREDIT SALES of INVESTMENT ACCOUNT.
