    IRA for temporary resident alien
    Can a temporary (3-6 yrs. Or so)resident alen (foreigen expatriate) contribute to a traditional IRA or Roth IRA?

    Yes you can make contributions but when you take the money during the restricted period, then you may incur tax penalties.
