    how to do this job costing?
    SRI bhd. Is an engineering workshop which makes machineries to customer's order. Job 171 is an progress. Cost incurred up to 31 march 2009 comprise of:
    materials=$1020
    wages=$290
    factory overhead=$90

    the following costs were charged to the following jobs in April 2009
    job 010:
    materials=$470
    wages=$250
    job X15:
    materials=$650
    wages=$320
    job T2:
    materials=$690
    wages=$390

    Actual overhead incurred for the month of April amounted to $5400. However the company charges overheads to job based on 90% of direct labour cost. The following two jobs were completed in april:

    job quoted price
    010 $5400
    X15 $4500

    required:
    a. compute the cost of each job up to April 2009
    b. determine profits made for April 2009
