    Are fixed assets and plant assets the same thing?
    I am constructing a classified balance sheet and I would like to know if fixed assets are the same as plant assets?

    Yes. I learned it as fixed assets. Current books seem to use the term plant assets, or more commonly plant, property & equipment. My finance book calls them fixed assets. All the same thing.

    Yes Fixed Assets also known as Non Current Assets are Plant Assets compromising of property, plant & equipment.
