    Discontinued operations measurement date confusion
If an operation is discontinued in the current year (2007), but the measurement date is September 1, 2007; are amounts from 1/1/07-8/30/07 included under the discontinued operations portion of the income statement along with the amounts from 9/1/07-12/31/07 or is there some other way of recording it?

All operating gains or losses of the segment for the entire year (even if the measurement date is during the year) belong in discontinued operations section
