    Can "new product software" costs be treated as a fixed asset?
    We are a UK based business and are developing a new software line. This product is due to roll out in Spring 2012 and we have incurred a number of third party development costs thus far. I would like to take these costs into Fixed Assets and depreciate them over three years.
