Instructions for Harbor Breeze 69" Airspan ceiling fan
We purchased a Harbor Breeze 69" Airspan ceiling fan from Lowe's. It was a display model and does not have instructions included. It is already put together but we would like to change the blades from light maple side to silver side. How do you remove the blades?

Remove the 2 screws that hold the blade yoke to the motor. Remove the screws holding the blade to the yoke, turn blade over and reinstall screws. Reinstall yoke to motor.

These fans do not have "yokes" or blade brackets, as they are called.

I've never seen one in person so I can't tell you. You can contact the manufacturer via our sticky, or post pictures and I will take an educated guess.

In the very center of the fan there in a cap about the size of a half dollar. There is nothing to get a hold of so I used the palm of my hand, it unscrews counterclockwise. Then there are 2 philips screws that hold the large cap on, after that you will see the screws that hold the blades on.

Also the light globe unscrews counterclockwise about 1/2 turn then drops down.
