I have just received my new jar of Fair & Flawless™ Facial Lightening Cream.
This cream is the best natural skin lightener I have ever used.
I saw results in 14 days.
With my order was a note on the invoice saying"It's nice to hear from you again we've enclosed a complimentary serum for your continued loyality. Thank you!!
That was so nice of them! A $70 serum for free.
I'm so blessed.:p
The serum has changed. It used to be clear, now it is white and smells of coconut.
I apply the serum first then apply the Fair and Flawless Facial Whitener on top. Serums go on FIRST, then creams.
Summertime is coming so I figured I'd better start to lighten up a bit bacause through out the winter months I did not use any lightening cream at all.
DIY SKINCARE for lightening (
Do it yourself).:)
Along with the Fair and Flawless Facial Whitener I bought a jar of Canvas Base Cream from
SkinActives
I found them on Ebay.
They also have a website
http://www.skinactives.com/index.htm
A base cream is a cream with
no active ingredients.
That is where SkinActives comes in. They also sell active ingredients so you can add them to their Canvas Base Cream or their Serum Base.(shown below)
They have four bases you can use to add whatever active products you want.
http://www.skinactives.com/products/productess.htm
I love the feel of the Canvas Base Cream. It is so smooooth!!
And so creamy! And it smells like... NOTHING.
With the base cream I bought their Arbutin.
Pure ARBUTIN skin lightener for high concentration
Arbutin is a natural skin lightener, it comes in powder form.
I mixed the Arbutin in the base cream to make a 5% Arbutin skin lightening cream!! 5% is pretty good don't you think?
The highest Hydroquinone you can get from a Dr. is 4%.
The Canvas Base cream is 4oz, bigger than the F&F facial whitener.
Canvase Base Cream is only $6.99
Arbutin active $12.99.
At the price we can all afford I'm sure!!
All you read is that Fair and Flawless is too expensive.
Well it's time to make your own then!
DIY!!
The prices of their active ingredients are GREAT!
They have a list of expensive skincare lines and how to make your own version, Yep they even have Fair and Flawless on their list. ( how to make your own F&F body cream)
http://www.skinactives.com/brands2.htm
Ok here is the list of their Skin lightening ingredients they offer:
Arbutin (alpha arbutin)
Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C)
Bearberry (uva-ursi)
Betulinic Acid --NEVER even heard of this one .
Ferulic Acid---This one too. A skin lightener?
Kojic Acid
Liquorice Extract (white)
Melatonin
Kojic Acid Dipalmitate
Niacinamide
Resveratrol--Any heard of this one?
They have many other ingredients for ance, wrinkles (anti-aging). You can make just about any kind of skin cream you want. And add as much active ingredients to make it as strong as you want.
Fair & Flawless™/Skin Soho Body Lightening Creams and the lotion run in the line between $80 all the way up to $250.00 the largest size being 8oz.
That's just too much of a price for some people and they cannot afford it.
I think you can buy SA's (SkinActive) Canvas Base cream or even a lotion like the Fair and White
http://www.safarimkt.com/fair_and_white.html
You see the forth lotion down?
The FAIR & WHITE AHA-2 LOTION?
That's the Hydroquinone Free lotion.
You can buy that one and for only $13.99 at 17.6 oz
That's a BIG bottle!! And add an active from SkinActives and have yourself a nice bottle, a LARGE bottle of skin lightener.
If you can't afford that, shoot go down to the dollar store LOL!! And get you a big cheap bottle of lotion and get some actives if you have too. LOL!!
What do you think of that??
Add some Kojic,Bearberry, and Licorice or
Make a Arbutin, Niacinamide and Melatonin mix.
Whatever skin lightening ingredients you want.
If you don't mind using HQ the other Fair and White lotions only have 1.9%hq in them anyway. That's not too bad. But still it's the size of the bottles I like.
I would have liked to have added some Licorice to my Arbutin but they were out of stock at the time (last week). I think it's back in stock now.
I wanted to add Sepiwhite (same ingredient that is in Fair and Flawless) from
http://www.makingcosmetics.com/
But they were out of stock too!
I guess a cream of 5% Arbutin is all right.
I put on my F&F serum then the F&F cream mornings and at night I use my F&F serum then the Arubtin cream at night.
I use the F&F serum then put on my
sunscreen if I go out.
I also bought The Latic Acid 85 Peel from
http://perfectcomplexion.net/index.php
Julie is one of the best!! If you have ever ordered from Julie or exchanged e-mail with her you'll see why. She's so helpful and cool.
I will use this "peel" once a week. It's not really a true peel because you don't see any actual peeling. It's will dissolve the dead skin cells. So no "down time" using this "peel"
Yeah, it's at a 85% but you only have it on the skin for 10 to maxium 30 seconds that's all. Then use a baking soda and water to nuetralize it. I'm going to do it fast!
Dip my q-tip, swipe all over my face count to 10 then take my wash cloths with my baking soda to wipe it off.
There are other sites that offer Latic Acid at 30%. Lactic Acid is good for hyperpigmentation. But I had to go and get the strong stuff. Lol
Here is a sneek peek at Julie's new site. As you can see the old site does not even list the Latic Acid. I had to e-mail her to find out if she was still selling it.
http://perfectcomplexionsalon.net/cart/
The new site has new products listed and the Latic Acid is there.
Oooooook that's my skincare routine for now. I'll get back later on how the lightening is. This Thursday will make it a week I have been using F&F and the cream base and arbutin did not come until Monday. Just got the Latic today and will be doing my first "peel" tonight. I wash my face with Serious Skin Care Glycolic Cleanser, that came in the mail yesterday along with the SA products.
As you can see I've been doing some skin shopping!!
I'm just going to use the creams on my face and neck. Every time I put the cream on my hands I either end up using the bathroom five minutes later ( and you have to wash yor hands after using the bathroom) or end up doing something in the kitchen and end up washing my hands AGAIN. I'm just washing face creams down the drain. Ugh!!
I just noticed how many times I wash my hands or how many times I touch water druing the day.
So purchasing the F&F lotion for my hands or try to make my own using SA's ingredinets will be better. I'm going to get a small bottle, one of those empy plastic bottles you can buy at the store, the travel size ones, you know the ones I mean? I can pour some of the lotion in so I can put it on my hands at work, put in in my purse.
