Translation into French for wedding speech
    Hi,

Can anyone help translate the following into French for a best man's speech... someone with French as mother tongue would be ideal !

    1. The toast is to the bride and groom
    2. I must apologise that my French is not so good - so, for those of you who don't speak a lot of English, let me reassure you that my speech is really funny

    Any help much appreciated!!

    1. Le pain grillé est à la jeune mariée et se toilette

    2. Je dois faire des excuses que mon Français n'est pas aussi bon - ainsi, pour ceux de vous qui ne parlent pas beaucoup de l'anglais, laissez-moi vous rassurent que mon discours est vraiment drôle

My source for the translation is BabelFish. Which has always been reliable.

    AltaVista - Babel Fish Translation

To double check, I re entered the phrases:

    1. Le pain grillé est à la jeune mariée et se toilette
    2. Je dois faire des excuses que mon Français n'est pas aussi bon - ainsi, pour ceux de vous qui ne parlent pas beaucoup de l'anglais, laissez-moi vous rassurent que mon discours est vraiment drôle

Then I went to Dictionary.com and did the same:

    1. Le pain grillé est à la mariée et au marié
    2. Je dois faire des excuses que mon Français n'est pas aussi bon - ainsi, pour ceux de toi qui ne parlent pas beaucoup d'anglais, me laisser vous rassurent que mon discours est vraiment drôle

The FreeTranslation.com site gives me this:
    1. Le pain grillé est à la mariée et au marié
    2. Je dois demander pardon que mon français n'est pas si bon - si, pour ceux-là de vous qui ne parle pas beaucoup d'anglais, vous me permettre de rassurer que mon discours est vraiment drôle

My apologies, BabelFish has 99.99% of the time been right.

Porter un toast is the verb for to make a toast.

Je voudrais porter un toast - I would like to make a toast.

Pain grille in the babel translation is toast that u eat ;-)
