    Planning a Bachelor Party
    Hi everyone!

Sneezers here... this past weekend, I have been asked to plan one of my bud's bachelor party. Here's the thing... he's a devoutly religious man... so no strippers, strip clubs, prostitutes, drinking, smoking, etc.

He wanted to get a few of his buddies, go to the beach, and just hang out for the day.

... I'm not letting him do this. Yes, it's a good idea, but... we can go to the beach and hang out ANY day... this has to be his BACHELOR party.

    I've had a few ideas...

    - trip to the casino/hotel type deals (I'm not sure of his stance on gambling, but I do know that he goes with his father sometimes)
    - trip to a different city (miami... nyc... etc.)
    - skydiving (not entirely sure of this... due to costs)
    - parasailing

Or overall just a guy's day out with paintballing, trip to the shooting range, a "man" movie, and go camping somewhere.

    Any more suggestions?

The cost... it can be SOMEWHAT extravagant, but since we're mostly college grads (some still in college), the more budgeted we are, the better.

I agree with Fr_Chuck... if you wanted to have a few activities available (is this ocean beach or lakeshore beach?) for those who are interested you could do that, but since he has said what he would like, best to keep that the main focus.
If you felt the need to make it a bit more interesting, you could possibly have "a day" at the beach in another location. It does sound like he is wanting to focus on relaxing and just hanging out with his buddies... good times... :)

If he truly wants to go to the beach, then that is what you should do. There are ways to make it more fun/exciting... BBQ, beach volleyball, rent jet skis, rent a boat for tubing or water skiiing.

If you think he is saying that because he does not want to put you out, then you should plan something more extravagant. How about a trip to Vegas? Then you will have the options of shows, pool time, gambling...

Hm. I'm liking that idea jj.

I'll put those two up there as options. :)

How about going to the beach but plan something adventurous while you are there, like maybe surfing lessons or rent a boat for the day and take it some great place for great seafood or barbecue or something like that.
