Marriage License!
OK I am 17 and engaged. I turn 18 in 3 months and was wanting to get married the day after I turn 18. Is it possible for me to get my marriage license that fast or do I have to wait so many days for that do be able to happen?

Every state has their own rules, In GA for example you need a blood test, so how fast you can get that test, some labs will give you 4 hour service, some 4 day service.
In TN no blood test, you can walk in, get your license and be married in the court house in about one hour. I understand it is about that fast in vegas.
You need to check with the court clerk that does license and find out what they require.

It does depend on the state. Here, it takes a few days to get your license after you apply. I'm not sure that you'd be able to apply for one at age 17 without consent and then marry a few days later by age 18.
Really, you'll have to call your courthouse to find out.

Make a quick call to your County Court Clerk. S/he will have the answers to your questions.

Pudding,
Why are you in such a rush? Please take a moment to catch your breath.
You are going to be 18 and here you are running into marriage. Think about what you are about to do. Marriage is a life long commitment and it can be filled with all manaer of problems and fun.
I was married at 18 and I'm still married. Both my wife and I agree that getting married at 18 was not the brightest thing we could have done/

We're all glad to help, but you can pick up a phone book or Google to find your county courts office. They can answer all these things for you depending on exactly where you live... marriage is a big step so you and your fiancé could use this as a project to work on together. ;)
You'll need to ask them about your age, how much it will cost, if its cash only (some are this way), hours and availability.
