Harbor Breeze Ceiling Fan With Neon Light Kit
I have purchased and installed a Harbor Breeze ceiling fan with a blue neon light kit. It was neat at first, but I am trying to sell my home and really need a more conservative light kit. Does anyone have any ideas where I can find a replacement or if it can be replaced at all? Please advise.

    Thanks,

    Troy

Is the neon light part of the fan housing or installed at the bottom of the fan?

The neon light appears to be installed at the bottom of the fan.

    Thanks,

If the light is held onto the fan hoiusing with 2 or 3 screws it can probably be removed. Compare it to the light kits available at home stores. Compare screw positions and the wiring. In many cases you can switch it out. Your luck will be better to start with a Harbor Breeze light kit.

If it is installed to the bottom of the fan you should be able to switch it with whatever light kit you purchase.
