vitiligonil : OK,synnen.which copmany do you prefer about monobenzone?
I don't. I'm just a moderator---with VERY white skin that drives me crazy because I do nothing but burn in the sun. I love being out in the sun, and cannot be without covering up most of my body to keep from burning.
I spent a day at the seaside once. It was a cloudy day, and I wore sunscreen that I kept refreshing all day. I didn't get into the water, just walked on shore.
I burned so badly I blistered and had to be taken to the hospital.
All because I wore shorts and a tank top instead of long pants or a skirt and a long sleeved shirt.
So... No. I don't get the skin-lightening thing beyond the fact that everyone should have the right to SAFELY change their looks without it being commented on by others. For example--I dye my hair to cover the gray. It makes me feel more attractive, and more confident in myself. Other people use skin-lightening products to make themselves feel more beautiful to themselves.
As long as people are not going to dangerous lengths to do it--who cares?
Either way--I'm just here on these forums to enforce the rules. I don't generally contribute otherwise.
