    Statutory rape.
    Dear Readers,
    from what i beleive,
statutory rape is anyone who is older than Age of Consent,
    And someone who is younger,
i am currently 14 and live in Canada,
and my boyfriend has just turned 18.
    i will soon be 15 ( March ):)
and Canadian Age Of Consent Laws Age Is 14.:)
does statutory rape include our relationship ?
and if so, i know for sure it becomes legal when i am 15.
my research concludes that it is not legal,
    but i am not sure.
my parents told me to never see him again,
when they soon discovered i love my virginity to him,
    as him with me.
    please help ?

OK... heres the thing... rape = you don't want to. If you had sex with your boyfriend and then changed your mind 2 days later you could turn it around to rape (this is due to the age law); however, if you or your parents do not make a claim against him then things should be fine. Be smart, use protection, and don't so anyhting against your own will. If your still nervous... its 2 months... see how things go for that time... thats all...

By the way... your parents not wanting you to see him... listen to their reasons... I fought with my parents for years and now they are my best friends. I turned 20 today, I'm not that old and yes I have had sex... a lot more than I would like to admit... make priorities... if your parents don't want you to see him because of the sex... then sit down and talk to them... mayeb just your mom and explain why. If she still says no, see him but respect her wishes that you will not have sex for a bit... if your relationship doesn't work without it... you have got problems and it doesn't work anyway.

I know the law in canada and if it was consentual it is legal, this does not need researching, unless you would like to, the law was recently changed a cop directly told me this. So you won't get in any trouble with the law and if you do, which is unlikely, saying it was consentual is what you do it's the truth and the law says if you consent they can't do anything. As for your parents if you really want to be with him they should not be stepping in the way of your happiness.

    Good luck
