    Movie (based on book) about man and mouse experimented on
    I know it was a book we read in Elementary or something.

    All I recall is the man being retarded and then he is experimented on with a rat. They begin to get smarter, but it's only temporary, and then they start to get dumb again.

    The guy, I think, falls for a girl and goes out on a motorcycle with her.

    Any idea? I keep thinking it's Of Mice & Men, but that's not it.

    The mouse had a big name... something like Albatross or Albatron or... something with an A.
