    GRR got a job issue.
    All right, so I just started working for Food Basics doing the Graveyard Shift (10pm- 6.30am). I am 17 years old and turning 18 in October. I am making $8.9/hour (student fee.. ) + .75/hour for night shift. The schedule posted at Food Basics says;

    10-6.3, 10-6.30, 10-6.30, 10-6.30, 10-6.30 and it says "Overall hours worked : 40" but I am working 42.5 hours a week? They are ripping me off by taking 2.5 hours or $24.125/ a week.

    I am not 100% sure if the hours put on the schedule are just an outline or if they actually are trying to pull a fast one.

    I need some help? Does .75 an hour for night shifting sound low or is that about right? What do I do about the hours? Etc..

    All opinions welcome.

    They are probably deducting breaks out of that.

    I used to work 43 hours a week but only got paid for 38 because I had a 1 hour lunch break every day that was unpaid.

    I agree, sounds like you are supposed to get a half hour break every night.
