The sun is out
Hi all,
It is summer time here, apart from the ugly sunblock lotions, what are your strategies to avoid the sun.

I walk around with my parasol. I don't care who stares. Actually, I have noticed a lot more people are walking around with them than in the past. In addition to keeping the skin light, it protects against UVA aging.

Basically becoming vamp, going out doors in the early morning or when the sun begins to set, avoiding extreme sun exposure as much as I am capable of, using high spf sunblock... hmm I even used a sheet of paper over my head while walking a few times to help block some of the sun. I knew I looked a bit silly, but whatever works.

Wow guys you are brave, I cover up everything anyway since starting mono. Long sleeve etc only hand and face is visible, I try to avoid the sun as much as I can but I have this friend we always argue lol. She loves sitting in the sun, and I find a shade, and she does not understand. She does not know about mono.
Now days I just don't go out so antisocial

Hey is it true... dark colours attract sunlight and light colours reflect the light.. I assumed dark colours protected your skin...
Also I heard the higher the SPF you use when outside... the more it darkens the skin... not entirely convinced though...
