    John Deere 320 quit charging
    I was mowing with my John Deere and it just shot off. I tried to retart after disengaging blades and it would barely crank. I charged the battery restarted the mower then pulled the positive battery cable and the mower died. It has the 21hp liquid cooled kawasaki engine. I have no idea as to where to start looking for the problem. I am afraid if I take it to a shop they will be able to milk me for as much as they can since I do not have the knowledge of the eletronics. Please any help would be great

    How old is the battery?

    One season. I even took one out my vehicle and still did the same thing.

    Make sure the wires aren't rubbing or have broken...
    Essentially it could be anywhere, wiring to the stator under the flywheel...
