Know what? You and I are in the same boat!?! I've been in this horrible relationship for 5 years. Everyday it gets worse. I am at the point where looking at him makes me sick. I loathe him. He used to be a good guy, then he lost his job, started doing drugs, then moved his 13 year old boy in with us and this kid is just worthless as he is.
Everything that was worth anything is missing. All my kids jewelry, video games, clothes. I've been trying to get him out of my house for 3 yrs. With no luck.
I've called the police when he tears my house apart and breaks everything and they don't do anything but make him leave for a couple hours.
I can not get a restraining order/no contact order against him because he has not hit me or my kids.
But, you can legally evict him from your home. I finally stepped up to the plat and started doing something about it.
He has down talked me to the point that I feel like I'm nothing, and that's how I present myself, I'm tired of it!
You need to say the same thing. AND MEAN IT!
There has got to be a women's Safety and Resource Center there that will help you.
