| My sister has a really wild female syrian hamster and when we first brought her home she wriggled and bit and gnawed a hole in the box we had been given to take her home in, my sister was bitten by her and is sometimes scared to hold her, my mum is not scared and the hamster is fine with her, I think that all you need to do is not be afraid and try and get the hamster used to you because animals can sense when you are nervous or afraid. As for the wheel, put her in and leave her in for a while whilst watching her carefully, my sisters other hamster was in the wheel for ten minutes wandering what to do but once he figured it out he took to it straight away and now it is his favorite place to be in, one of my mice was exactly the same with a wheel. |
