I have a two Honda EU1000i inverter type generators that I can tie together. If you've ever had any experience with these generators they're super quiet and fuel efficient when compared to traditional. They worked great during Hurricane Irene. With the exception of surges when two refrigerator compressors were running at the same time, I only had to use one at a time. The only downside was the inability to run my well pump. I thought it would be a win-win if could integrate a step-up transformer for the well pump. Going to have to do my homework with regards to the load of the well pump. Thanks for your input.
