| Printer Problem Hi,
No question is silly, and yes, you can post a question anywhere you wish.
I would go to Start/Run, then type in MSCONFIG, and click on Go.
This will bring up a window, then click on the StartUp tab at the top.
On the left of this window is a listing of all the programs that start up when you start your computer.! There will be lots of them !
Scroll down the left, and try finding something about your printer.
You can left click on it, to remove the check mark, then click on Apply, then OK, and re-boot the computer.
This may or may not be the problem, but it's worth trying.
If you uncheck something your computer needs, you can always go back and re-check it.
There are also other things to look at, but try this first.
Best wishes,
