I have to say amicon is right. Its pretty black and white when you sit back and look at it. When someone asks for a break they are saying I want to get away from this relationship without hurting you. A break leaves it open ended on your part. They get away while your not as hurt as a break up would be. Instead they leave you hanging and wondering if they are coming back. During this time you need to fool him and move on. The break happened and life goes on. The relationship is over.
