I would hope his case and his situation would be reviewed once his parole came up. If I were you I would keep tabs on him. When is he up for parole ?

I know I'm jumpin the gun, he hasn't been sentenced yet he's in custody,1 yr in dec. Waiting. His lawyer is trying to get him to plead guilty for a reduced sentence if not he gets at least 10 yrs. So it doesn't matter what his wife wants?
