Jean912, IP addresses in the 196.168.x.x range don't belong to anyone. Per RFC 1918 (see URL below) these are special IP addresses that can be used by everyone in their internal networks. Whenever you have 192.168 addresses in your network, the router is configured to use NAT (Network Address Translation) to route your computers with 192.168.x.x addresses out via the IP address assigned to you from your ISP.
