You're wrong, Mohammed did not start Islam. The first man and woman on earth were Muslims. Every prophet from Adam, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, Mary to Mohammed were Muslims.
Mohammed sww was the
final messenger of Allah swt and he came to spread the message to all of mankind. The other prophets brought their messages to their own people only. If Muslims believe he was the final one, there by logic it means there were more before him and there were more than 100,000 of them.
