I am thinking that the restraining order may be more of a wake up call to the husband, because if there is a legal binding against the niece that she can't see him. Yet she's constantly trying to do so, maybe he'll realize there's an issue.

Also, maybe the niece will realize that what she's doing is making her "idol"'s family go through problems...however that may be just what she wants.
