    Why is my breast leaking?
I woke up this morning and one of my nipples had a thin white-ish fluid coming out. My breasts have been very sore the last couple of weeks. I'm not sure what's up with that... I've gained weight in the last couple of weeks. My period should be showing up this week sometime... I don't think that I'm pregnant... I've spent a couple hours looking up all sorts of possibilities... basically I've gained weight, I've been hungry all the time, my right breast is leaking and both are very sore, I have no sex drive, I'm tired all the time... all this has been happening over the last couple of weeks. As I said I'm not expecting my period until later this week sometime... I realize that most of these things would point to pregnancy but I thought that the leaking thing isn't something that would show up until much later... I guess I was just wondering if it could be something else or if there are other things I should be waiting for to show up before I freak out too much...

So I guess my questions are:
Are there other possibilities other than pregnancy that these could be pointing to that I'm not thinking of?
And should I wait to take a pregnancy test till next weekend if my period doesn't show up or should I take it now and get it over with?

Take the tets now so u can be definite whether it is or isn't pregnancy. If it isn't.. well that's one thing ruled out!

It could be a number of things honestly. But my first guess is pregnancy.

It could be inflammation of the milk duct and/or gland or something even more serious (like it was with me). However, you should take a pregnancy test first to rule that out.

Now, understand that if you take one at home that you need to wait until your period is a week late (just less chance for a false negative that way), and use first morning urine as it contains higher concentrations of pregnancy hormone called Hcg.

If you are not pregnant, then you need to make a doctor's appointment to find out what is going on.

I am currently having the same problem.
I have done extensive research on it and after ruling out pregnancy first and foremost I looked into my medication. As it would have it one of the rare side effects of an antidepressant called "Zoloft" was leaking breasts. Its scary and def go see your doctor!
