Large Lump in Labia Majora (breast too)
Hi, I just had some questions about a large lump (about the size of a golf ball) in the upper part of my labia majora. Its hard and sort of flat but wide with a nodule on it. I don't know how long it has been there really. I didn't do self check but felt a nagging dull feeling down there.
I was told by my doc that its probably a lymph node and due to a yeast infection. I have diabetes 2 and I get them often. I am wondering if this will only get larger and more painful. If its not a lymph node since she only felt the lump and "thought" it was a lymph node is there any way of knowing for sure without tests? I can't find anything about lymph nodes in the labia on the internet. It only goes to things about cancer. I don't feel its cancer and since my doctor didn't feel alarmed or concerned I'm not sure what to do next. I also have a lump in my breast, (breast not under arm, but did have a large marble size lymph node before I found the lump in my breast) its hard and next to it its more of like a long thickness. It has grown very slowly. I also some nipple discharge that is not bloody so that isn't an indication as far as I know of cancer. I just wanted some helpful information until I can get back to the doctor. I don't want to be sitting around worrying and in pain until I can get there. Thanks for any help.
Oh, this has been ongoing for about 2 years. I'm 32, and about 5 years before these lumps I was successfully treated for pre-cancer cells in my uterus. I can't think of anything else that might need to be known.
