I have never been able to wear tampons, and I couldn't understand why. But now, after some research, I think I have a septate or microperforate hymen. I would like a hymenectomy, but am hesitant because of the possible cost. HDo any insurance companies cover this procedure? (I'm 16 if that helps.) If not, how much would I have to pay out of pocket?

You will have to find out if one or both ofy our parents have medical insurance to cover this procedure. As for the cost, well, that is up to the surgeon to determine, not us.
