    After Abortion
I have had three abortions. After my third one I never really got my period but I do bleed once a month as if I have my periond. Can you tell me what's going on?

Three abortions? Don't you use other protection? Your body is probably not back on its cylce. When was your last abortion? How old are you?

I do agree I've had an abortion and it was for many reasons not because I don't want children because I do but was a bad time for me I don't know how anyone would let them get in that position a second time and then a third its just careless

I can't help but be upset... at 3 abortions! Here my hubby and I have been trying like crazy to have a baby... and u just abort 3!! I can see 1 for certain reasons... but not 2... and definitely not 3!! There are so many forms of contraception out there... try using them!

She didn't say that she didn't use protection...

I just did a little bit of statistics, let's say that a certain mode of protection is 99.9% (higher than nearly all contraceptive methods on the market) successful when used properly.

The chance of someone getting pregnant on every one of three occasions is 0.001^3 = 0.0000001%

that's one in every 10 million people, if everyone on the planet tried this, 600 would get pregnant all 3 times.

The chances are against this happening to any one person. But it's entirely possible. Especially since I'm sure she had sex on more than 3 occasions, and real contraceptive methods fail much more often due to improper use (and 99.9% was ridiculously high)

Please don't assume things without the information. I'm fairly certain that you're right, but we don't have that information.

Yea, well you would think after the first time, or Definitely after the second time that should be a sign that the protection (if used) isn't effective... and secondly... If you can't take on the consequences of what happens when that protection doesn't work.. not once, not twice, but THREE times... then they should NOT be having SEX!!

She didn't ask anyone's opinion about her abortions.

    She asked about her bleeding/periods.

    HER life, not yours.

I suggest that you see a doctor, Misty. No one here would be able to diagnose you online, and you may have complications that your doctor needs to address.

As ever this topic raises so many ugly heads you must all remember we aren't here to judge, who knows what is going on in this young lady's life.
Yes I understand that its hurtfull to read about when your trying for a child but if you don't like the topic you have the ability to pass it by no one is making you post in a topic you don't like.
Now to the op its really not surprising your periods haven't returned to normal your poor body must be doing backward flips in there go talk to your dr and get yourself on some regular contraception.
    Good luck.

HER life not mine.. right... but I have a right in voicing my opinon also... If people want to voice their concerns, and questions, then people also have a right to voice their opinions on the situation... Im not judging... simply stating how I feel... which the last I checked was allowed.

This site is based on answer and question. You are judging. She wants to know what is going on with her body. If you have an opinion about that, then sure go ahead, but I have not seen you express such an opinion here.

I am not going to sit here and argue with you... there were 2 other post on this question that voiced their opinion on having 3 abortions... not just me... Have fun

I hope you weren't suggesting that mine was one of the two others. I have no qualms with abortion, but people do need to realize that they are dangerous and when you have many, and your body starts responding, you need to see a doctor... I was not meaning, in any way, to judge her. I was simply stating the facts.
