Cub Cadet Mower Blades Won't Engage
I have a 2005 Cub Cadet Series 1000, Model LT1045. The engine runs just fine but when I pull the PTO switch to engage the blades, they won't engage. I replaced the Relay Switch but that did not fix the problem. The problem used to occur sporadically but now the blades won't engage at all. Engine runs just fine though. What else can I try?

    Hi,
Make sure you have a goo ground to the clutch and power there as well. Good be a bad clutch but it is far cheaper to repair a bad wire.
    Peace,

Thank you, Clarke. We found a local tractor/mower repair company and they too think it is a bad clutch. Unfortunately, we had to pay to have it taken to their site. I guess it is cheaper than buying a new one. Have a good one.
