How can I get my mom to shut up?
Even If I try by best at school, If I give more effort than my classmates, my mom always ALWAYS repeats and yells and never understands me, I mean my parents are immagrints from Europe to Canada, I really don't fell the greatest right now, I mean I try to help others and pray and all that but all I get in return is problems, I might be a kid, but I lived most of my life without a father, I mean my mom doesn't trust me or believe me or anything tells me what to do, all I want is an answer from someone else that might have expierenced the same thing as me, what can I do?

I've been there before a million times and I'm still there at 20 lol. My mom expected a lot out of me. She didn't get an education after high school so I have always been pressured to be perfect at everything so I can have a better, well off life than I did growing up. I don't know why your mom yells at you, but I'm sure she really loves you a lot. Its extremely stressful, and hurtfull, trust me, I understand that. Every time my mom yelled at me I normally would just walk away from it, sometimes I cried, sometimes I yelled back. I always kept in mind that the only reason she was yelling was to help me. I feel like a really strong person because of it now.. I've learned how to handle criticism really well because of it.. and trust me.. you need to know how to handle criticism.

The only thing I could suggest to you is to talk to her about it. Tell her that it really hurts your feelings, and you honestly are trying as hard as you can to be the best person you can. Ask her if maybe she'll take it a little easier on you. Explain to her that you feel pressured and stressed out because of it. Tell her you love her. She'll probably still yell at you on occasion, but that's the best you can do.

I grew up without a dad in my life as well.. just wanted to throw that out there. So I feel like our situations are somewhat similar.

Just hang in there, go outside, get some air, stay calm. You'll be fine =)
If you need anything else, just ask.

Tell your mom to try doing what you do with the kind of pressure she puts on you and see how good she does.

Tell her to back off and to just get a hold of herself and to stop taking her problems out on you and just because she seems upset at the world doesn't mean she needs to solve her problems through you.
