    Is ND oilfield workers per diem taxable
    If a oil field worker is paid by the hour and gets 75 dollars a day per diem is the perdiem taxable

    Normally, per diem is NOT taxable because it pays for daily expenses on a temporary (less than one year) job.

    It CAN be taxable if your job extends beyond ONE year, because then the job ceases to be TEMPORARY.
