My friend has a YouTube channel, and I'm willing to make him a music video for him. The music video is planned out but the actual song isn't. I'm looking for a song about someone's brother dying but he realizes he has his friends and all that. If you can that'd be much appreciated thank you

I wouldn't hold out much hope for a free song someone worked hard to write. Count your blessings if you do get one. Just a reality check. Time = money. How about you and your friend try writing one? Who knows, the inspiration might hit you after starting and you might find a hidden talent.

I have tried for almost 6 months now. Then I saw this website, So I decided to ask for a bit of help. Next time if you have something nice to say, say it if you don't then just ignore.

You're asking for quite a bit of help, and for free. What kind of song? rap? rock? heavy metal? country? Christian? pop?

What part of the song exactly have you done, 'planned out?'
It sounds like you don't have music or lyrics, and that's asking too much.
Plus, a song about a brother dying sounds very personal to HIM. I don't understand why, if he has a spot on YouTube he doesn't do this himself.

My video on YouTube was of me turning my dad's ashes into golf balls. He loved golf and would have loved it. I have never been back to even see if anyone looked at it. I just looked - 5 years, 4 views, no comments, 2 negatives, 0 positives, and I just deleted it!

To me it's just not something someone is going to jump up and offer to do.
As you have found out after 6 months, it isn't easy.
If it comes naturally to someone, they have a good career doing it for a living, and aren't even going to see this.

I don't know of one person on this site that would be capable of giving you the help you're asking for. No song writers that I know of here.

Are you looking only for lyrics, or the music too? That's not as easy as it sounds.

I'd be willing to think of some lyrics, but the music to go with the, you'd have to come up with yourself, or find someone else, because the only instrument I play is the accordion, and I don't even play it that well. So I really can't help with the music.
