I don't want to be on this stuff for the rest of my life its sick
I don't afraid anymore from losing the color I achieved
I just don't like the feeling I got from it.. like always hiding the fact I'm using that sh*t.. to be afraid from the sun..
So that's it.. what ever will be will be..

Mono is not an easy option, I only used mono for not more than 6 weeks in total before I stopped for more than a year.

During that brief period I have sections on my body that depiged totally, which means I either finish off my monobenzone journey or stay patchy for life.

Sarah, what is your original color? Do you have vitiligo or are you using mono just for lightening? When you say depigged totally, do you mean like really white? Or just lighter than your natural color?

Depig means terminating the production of melanin totally and completely... Yes,it means she will be WHITE.

I am meduim brown, I didn't have vitligo, yes some area have depiged it is white. It never repig back.

Yes you are right, although there is a risk of repigmentation in some areas.

You are right, that why I keep saying if you don't want to depig do not touch mono. I might sound like broken record lol but how many people have to ask, would I get patches? I am only using it for a bit?
How about lower percentage?

I even made a blog about it lol if you decide to use mono you have to be sure you want to depig completely, or don't go near it. Repigmentation is very hard for some areas.

@ super shallow - I think your being unfair.. I know you struggled with mono and its pros and cons.

But the colour you now have achieved has been giving you more attention and has made you happier.

And now you are trashing the product. You don't really want people to use it so they don't lighten up and stay the way they are.. Now your beginning to become slightly selfish.

Give the guy a break, mono is not for everyone. He is been honest with his experience. You have to be very strong emotionally to deal with mono, I had positive results from it but I will not encourage anyone to use it.
Do you want to be misled by false claims then get shocked when you live with it.

My goal is to completely depig. I was born very pale, but due too much exposure to sun, I have tanned very dramatically. Since I'm positive my facial features will support the new contrast. By using mono will this be achievable?

I used monobenzone for two months and got brown and white patches and darkening of skin.
I regret using omonbenzone I thought I just a normal skin whitener.I can't deal with white and brown patches so I am thing to gave up mono and use mequinol,but what will happen white patches on my skin?

Yes.Mono will depigment you totally and completely.But I hoe you are ready... read the reviews here about mono.You will see that it is for the tough... I have never seen it,talk less of used it.But I have read experiences from here and I must say... its a rough ride.But if you want to go to heaven,you must die!

Lol words of wisdom here, yes monobenzone will depigment the skin, there are risks of stubborn areas which might refuse to depigment even for vitiligo patients that risk exist. Oh and if you scared of been patchy don’t touch mono

imgorgeous. I don't think that he is trying to be selfish. I think that he is being very genuine and doesn't want others to make the same mistake that he did. Call him selfish if you like... But I recommend that everyone stays away from mono unless that have vitiligo.

Post lightening imgorgeous not post depigmenting.
So he hasn't said don't lighten.

Not sure though if your life gets better because you lightened.
It's a cosmetic practice.just like dyeing your hair and doing your nails. Its just feels good to you.
