    Windows 98
Hello, can someone tell me when I type in msconfig on my computer and go to startup, what is suppose to be checked there, because everything in there has a check and all I run is my callwave and email plus explorer and dial up connection. Any help would be great,it has been a few years since I have even been on a computer.
    Thank You for your help:)

Msconfig? I'm not sure why you would need to look at it but here's a guide:
    How to use MSCONFIG: NetSquirrel.com

If you are still using Windows 98, download the "unofficial service pack" from MajorGeeks.
Windows 98 is no longer supported by Microsoft but the unofficial service pack will keep it going for a while. I'm not sure there's even a freeware firewall for Win98 anymore - except maybe Jetico.

It would be a good idea to run all the spyware essential tools and also clear up the temp files with the clean up tools
