    International Cell Phone Service
My wife has a cell phone account w/ Verizon here in the US, and is looking for a phone that will work well in Europe as well as in the US. It seems however that Verizon cell phones are generally not compatible with European standards (VZ uses CDMA, while the European standard is GSM) - the rep at the local VZ store said the only thing they have to offer that works overseas is a Blackberry, which we do not want. So it seems she will have to change carriers. My question is: can anyone give me positive or negative experiences with other carriers, such as T-Mobile or AT&T/Cingular, especially as it relats to international usage? Thanks.
