    How do I calculate the following
    Owens Orchards sells apples in a large bag by weight. A sample of seven bags contained
    The following numbers of apples: 23, 19, 26, 17, 21, 24, 22.
    a. Compute the mean number and median number of apples in a bag and verify.

    You don't know how to find an average? Add them up and divide by the number of bags.

    The median is just the middle term.

    Galactus is right.

    But in finding the median be sure to order the numbers from smallest to largest. That way you get an accurate median...
