There are a lot of diet books and diet aids on the market that offer quick, miracle cures, but most of them are just not honest about what they truly can accomplish. If you have a weight problem, (you didn't mention your age, height, weight, body frame), a healthy, natural diet of whole grains, like wheat bread, rice, cereals and pastas, fruits and veggies and lean meats like skinless chicken, turkey breast, loin type meats, in the correct portion size, which is 3 ounces is the key to making changes that you can keep for your lifetime. Getting the right amount of dairy like skim milk or low fat, yogurt and low fat cheese. Cutting out fried, fatty, high sodium, like chips or high sugar foods, like candy, cakes, cookies and staying away from fast foods or processed foods, drink lots of water, try to cut out soda or presweetened drinks, will go along way to keeping you fit and healthy. Also everyone should exercise 3-4 times a week and for a minimum of 30 minutes, aerobics, weight/resistance training, walking, biking or swimming, but a good overall body workout. All this together will help you and keep you fit for a lifetime.
