    math help
    x : x + 15 = 7:12<<<< solve for x this is properties of proportions

    2x-3 is to 3 as 1 - x is to 5<<<< I have no idea

    p varies directly as the square of r, if p = 64, r=4, and r= 3 , find the value of p1


    The volume of gas varies inversely as the pressure, if v = 100 , p= 76 , and p1= 38 , find the value of V1

    I need all of this explained and solved for me because I have tried n tried somebody help me please!

    I'll do the first one
    I'll do the first one:

    x/(x+15) = 7/12
    x=(x+15)7/12
    12x=7(x+15)
    12x=7x+105
    5x=105
    x=21

    I got number 2
    This basically says that:
    (2x-3)/3=(1-x)/5
    10x-15=3-3x
    13x=18
    x=18/13

    Uh, could you explain what u mean by r=4, r=3, p=64? I'm somewhat confused at what you are trying to say.
